Bennet Kpentey

Bennet Kpentey is a Strategy and Financial Consultant and a qualified Business valuation professional with twenty (20) years professional experience. He is the Chief Executive and Managing Consultant of Sync Consult, a management and financial consulting Firm operating from Ghana. He is currently a lecturer in Strategic Management at the University of Ghana Business School as well as The Graduate Institute in Geneva, Switzerland.
Prior to establishing Sync Consult, he worked with Deloitte Touché Tohmatsu, West Africa and PricewaterhouseCoopers African Central in management positions.
Among his relevant experience, Bennet has provided leadership in a wide range of advisory work in fundings several projects with a cumulative size exceeding US$1.5 billion. He has also provided leadership in feasibility studies across several sectors and the development of information memoranda for raising financing and M&A transactions. He is a qualified business valuator and has undertaken several business valuations work, including valuation of intangible assets for financial institutions, hotels, educational institutions, technology firms, real estate firms and manufacturing establishments.
He is the President of the African Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts (AACVA), a member organisation of the world’s largest business valuation organisation,

NACVA of the United States. Between 2010 and 2014, he served on the IFRS Committee (USA) which was set up in 2010 to make presentations to the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) and the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) on valuation issues for the harmonisation of GAAP and IFRS
Bennet co-authored the Enterprise Map (2012), a book on the industrial sector of Ghana. He, in addition, was one of thirteen international business valuation professionals who co-authored “Guide to Fair Value under IFRS” a complete guide for business valuation under IFRS in May 2010.
Bennet holds an MA in International Relations (Economics Major) from the International University of Japan (1994) and a BA in Economics and Geography from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Ghana (1992). He is a Chartered Professional Consultant (CPC) from the American Consultants League (2000) and a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) from NACVA (2006). He is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Business Administration (Finance) at the Walden University in Minnesota, United States of America.
His professional memberships include AACVA (Accra, Ghana) and NACVA (Salt Lake City, USA). He is also a member of the Strategic Management Society headquartered in the USA.

Austin Aggrey-Odoom

Areas of focus: Investment Banking & Advisory

Austin Aggrey-Odoom has over twenty (20) years’ experience in banking and finance and is committed to the delivery of ethical practice and solutions to issues of development. He is currently responsible for international business development for Sync Consult in Europe.
Austin is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Afrogen, a specialist advisory firm that focuses on tailor made facilitation of private and corporate entities. Prior to establishing Afrogen, he was the Managing Director of the Newgen Group (1998-2010), a property development firm. The Company provided business model for the African business community incorporating property development, management, acquisition, sales and financial services. He was responsible for the implementation and building of the European Property Portfolio. He was also a co-founder of an Accountancy, Data and Software development company specialising in the Healthcare and Education sector. He was in charge of the development and implementation of an online database for promoting African businesses. For 2 years, he was the Co-Founder and Business Development Director of Austin Alexander Octave SA, Switzerland / Germany / France, and interest rate contracts on the Futures Market.

an International Financial Investment Consultancy and Fund Management House where his day to day duties included managing a team of telesales operators, bankers and investment analysts, recruiting and managing brokers throughout Europe, executing business on behalf of private banks, institutions and individual clients on the financial markets of London, New York and Hong Kong. He has also worked for a Swiss based Private Investment bank as an Investment Advisor responsible for new business development and provided financial and investment advice especially in the core business area of the sale and purchase of monetary Earlier, he was amongst a select group of Introducing Brokers at New Bank in the Island of St Vincent and the Grenadines W.I (1995-1998). In the United Kingdom (London) he was one of the top Sales Managers at GAN Financial, a major French government owned Insurance Brokerage Company, in charge of sales and marketing of personal and corporate financial products and tax mitigation as well as corporate planning using various financial instruments.
He holds a degree in Business Management with Finance from the University of Middlesex (1987-1990). He has also undertaken Post Qualification courses in Advance Corporate Finance (1990-1991) and Banking and Stock Broking (1995-1998).


Walter Kpentey

Areas of focus: Corporate finance and business valuation

Walter is a Senior Consultant with over ten (10) years’ experience in corporate finance, business development and organisational development. He has been involved in assignments in Public Private Partnerships (PPPs), feasibility studies, market studies, due diligence and business valuation, institutional assessment, salary surveys and strategic planning.
He has served several blue-chip clients including Venture Capital Trust Fund (VCTF), General Electric (USA), Mitsui, PwC Japan, World Bank, IFC and Berenschot of The Netherlands. He has also served local firms including SMEs with a range of consulting and advisory support services. He has also worked on several government projects. His concentrations are in the real estate, hospitality, manufacturing, energy and oil and gas sectors.

He holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Organisational Development from the UCC/OCIC-UK, Diploma in Mine Mechanical Engineering from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology School of Mines, Tarkwa, Ghana and is presently pursuing an MA Programme in Organisational Development from the UCC/OCIC-UK. He has attended and participated in Professional Development Programmes (PDPs) locally and internationally. He is a member of the African Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts (AACVA) a member organisation of NACVA of the United States, the world largest business valuation professional body.


BennyMaud Joeche

Areas of focus: Programme development, baseline studies, evaluation, and impact studies


Ms. Bennymaud Joeche is a Senior Consultant with over five years professional experience. She has since 2012, worked in the area of business administration, education, marketing and development facilitation with corporate bodies as well as with individuals, groups and institutions. At Sync, she is responsible for business development as well as the development practice service line which covers programme support, baseline studies, programme evaluation, and socio-economic impact assessment. She, in addition, supports in the execution of work in strategy development, project management, feasibility studies, industry analysis and market analysis.
Before joining Sync Consult, (2013-2017), Bennymaud worked with the Project Support Unit (PSU) of COTVET which was involved in managing several donor funded projects under COTVET with projects funded by the World Bank, AfDB, Danida etc. As Grants Executive, she worked specifically under the Skills Development Fund where she was involved in the multi sub-sectorial grant management fund and assisted in the management of almost a hundred sub-projects in implementation analysis and the management of consultants of the fund. The grant was a $50 Million facility funded by World Bank & Danida.

Ms. Joeche, in 2015, worked with the Development of Skills for Industry Project (DSIP) which offered a bursary scheme for thousands of disadvantaged students with particular focus on female students and apprentices, and the development and implementation of a role model program to encourage female students to join TVET at both the junior and senior secondary levels across the country. This was a US$125.0 million funded by the Africa Development Bank (AFDB).
Bennymaud holds an Executive Masters in Business Administration (Project Management Option) from University of Ghana, Legon (2016), and BA Integrated Rural Art and Industry (First Class Honors) from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology (2012). She also holds International Business Communications Certificate from ACM/CIPD-GIMPA (May 2017), and has attendant several capacity development programmes.


Jude Ayirebi Sompa

Areas of focus: Corporate finance, business and industry analytics

Jude is a financial analyst with three years’ experience. He is currently involved in the corporate finance and advisory division of the Firm. He has been involved in preparing bankable project documents including feasibility studies, business plans and information memorandum to support the advisory work and raising of financing for projects. Other areas include business valuations, financial modelling and industry and market analysis. He has covered the hospitality, real estate and oil and gas sectors.
Earlier, working as a Financial Analyst (2012 – 2013) at Ecobank Capital, Jude was involved in business and industry reviews and analyses to support the raising of funds for the refinancing of Volta River Authority. He also assisted provided inputs for the merger and acquisition between the Trust Bank and Ecobank Ghana. Among others, Jude researched and developed compelling case studies into potential business opportunities in line with company goals as well as liaising with departmental heads to develop proposals for new business and financial strategies

Jude was also the Junior Portfolio Manager at Ecobank Capital (Jan. 2012 – May 2012) where he was part of the team which manages IFund, the mutual fund run by Ecobank. Among others, he provided advice to interested clients including recording, updating and balancing client’s contributions and accounts.
Jude holds a MSc. Financial Management from the Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen (2013 – 2014) and a BSc. Banking & Finance from Central University College (2008 – 2012). He also took a Securities Course at the Ghana Stock Exchange in 2012. He is a member of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA) and a member of African Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts (AACVA) a member organisation of NACVA of the United States, the world largest business valuation professional body.


Emmanuel Acheampong-Bonsu

Areas of focus: Corporate finance and business analysis

Emmanuel Acheampong-Bonsu is a Business Analyst and is involved in data collection and analysis, industry analysis, market studies, financial analysis including the development of financial performance ratios. Among his relevant experience, he was involved in the business valuation of 18 companies across several sectors in Ghana for the Venture Capital Trust Fund (VCTF). He support work across service lines including feasibility studies, business plan development and business valuation. He has worked across several sectors including financial service, manufacturing, real estate, health, hospitality, mining, energy and oil and gas sectors

Emmanuel holds a B.Sc. Administration degree (Accounting option) from the University of Ghana Business School. He is a member of African Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts (AACVA) a member organisation of NACVA of the United States, the world largest business valuation professional body.


Priscilla Teye

Areas of focus: Corporate finance and business analysis

Priscilla Teye is a Business Analyst with Sync Consult. She is involved in data collection, market and sector analysis, financial modelling, financial analysis, economic reviews, feasibility studies and business valuation. She has undertaken assignments in the public and private sectors and Non-Governmental Organisations across the hospitality, health, manufacturing, education and real estate sectors. Priscilla provides support to consultants and senior consultants on various assignments. Prior to joining Sync Consult, she worked as Administrative Assistant at the Secretariat African Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts (AACVA), a Member Chapter of NACVA, the world’s biggest network of business valuation professionals.

Priscilla holds a BSc. Business Administration (Accounting Option) from the University of Ghana Business School and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountant – Ghana (ICAG). She is also a member of the African Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts (AACVA) which is affiliated to NACVA of the United States, the world largest business valuation professional body.


Adelaide Naa Oboshie Tempong

Areas of focus: Admin and operations support

With responsibility for Operations Support, Adelaide coordinates all the administrative functions in Sync Consult including customer service. She is also responsible for providing support to Consultants across all service lines to deliver prompt services to clients. She works directly with all the Consultants and delivers the necessary administrative, operations and logistical support to meet project timelines. Adelaide is an anchor, contributing directly to efficient running of the administrative function and timely delivery of outputs to clients.

Adelaide holds an HND in Secretaryship and Management Studies from Accra Polytechnic (2014), and Diploma in Business Studies (Secretarial Option) also from Accra Polytechnic (2010). She has attended several management training courses.
